is a professional Photographer based out of Philadelphia. He is also the son of Ronald Gray Sr., a well-known Wedding Photographer and the man who introduced him to what would later on become his passion. Growing up, Ronald Gray wanted nothing more than to be an artist. His paintings and drawings garnered interest in his schools from peers and adults. He began to enter and win contests and excelled in other forms of art, such as sculpture, music, and creative writing. The accumulation of these skills earned him accolades in high school while people took notice. Ronald saw firsthand that people in major cities obsessed over image. They obsessed over what was perceived to be beautiful. He wanted to be a part of that creative force behind it. He took his visual art skills, mixed with his knack for fashion, and pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
Ronald joined Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in the spring semester of 2002, and began to document road-trips to different schools with his friends-carrying a used Nikon film camera that his Father had given to him. People took notice of the images that he’d take, and requests came from students who wanted quality photos of their own. Pretty soon, there was a demand for Ronald Gray’s photography on campus, and his images had even caught the attention of the University, who hired his services to capture events. A Photographer had emerged. What started out as photojournalism, had evolved into the studio, and Ronald never deserted his love for fashion or fine art. Today, Ronald captures everything from fashion and editorial work, to special events, photojournalism and weddings.
